Dr. David J. Stern graduated from The University of Toronto in 1989. He and his wife Irena, have two children, Daniel and Carly.
For the last 29 years, Dr. Stern has maintained a successful private practice in the Greater Toronto Area. In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Stern devotes a large portion of his practice to the treatment of Sleep Disordered Breathing using oral appliance therapy. Dr. Stern is a member of The Ontario Dental Association (O.D.A.), The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (A.A.C.D.),The National Sleep Foundation, The Canadian Sleep Society (C.S.S.) and is a Diplomat of The American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (A.B.D.S.M)
Dr. Stern has been treating patients for Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea, in conjunction with Medical Doctors, for the last twenty five years, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Stern also practices cosmetic and family dentistry. Dr. Stern utilizes adjustable mandibular advancing appliances that are custom fitted and selected and adjusted depending on the patients need. Dr. Stern uses many appliances including; The Somnodent, Silencer, Narval Resmed, Tap and Klearway Appliances.
